Nuisance Bears!

 
   Red Bull  is camping at Peck's Corner Shelter, mile 217.3, elevation 5,556 feet (hiked 14 1/2 miles today).
 
   There are warnings issued by the park regarding "nuisance" bears around the Cosby Knob Shelter (mile 229.9).  The shelter is open, they just want to keep hikers aware.  Red bull and his companions will be in that area tomorrow.

   YIKES!  As I was copying the warnings from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park site... they have recently added the Peck's Corner Shelter to list of "nuisance bear areas"!   Red Bull is camping there right now!  I tried to call... left a message.  Then tried to text... no response!  He is smart, he is okay... right?!
