Pushed too hard today!
Red Bull was enthusiastic and determined to go as far as possible today!
Most of the elevation ranged from 3,800 feet to 5, 200 feet.
He hiked 15 1/2 miles of rugged terrain his first full day back on the trail, still only able to manage with one hiking pole.
He also is carrying the larger and heavier pack.
He stopped at the Cold Spring Shelter, mile 125.6 on the trail, elevation 5,000 feet.
When asked how he was feeling; "I really hurt more than any other day. I might have pushed it a little much on my first day."
He said it was his feet and shoulders hurting... I guess that takes his mind off of his hand?!
Keep going Red Bull! You can do this!
