Guesstimating between times we have heard from Red Bull and his locations, we ascertain they probably stopped at the South River Shelter site on mile 909.4 of the A.T. This would be an elevation of 2,952 feet.
The past 25 miles of trail had been closed late spring/early summer due to a forest fire. We are very happy it has reopened.
